Azonprinter will introduce “several” new products at the show including the new Pronto UV desktop-sized UV DTF machine

First up and in the wide-format, direct-to-object, and textile printing hardware sphere, the show promises to offer a range of much anticipated launches and demonstrations of the latest technologies and their capabilities. Manufacturer of digital production technologies, Durst, will be presenting its P5 wide-format printing systems and software solutions under the heading “Production Excellence”.

On Stand 4.2-B30, Durst will be taking up over 800sq m in space to showcase its Vanguard printing systems for the first time in Europe. Also on show will be the company’s TAU RSC platform for label and flexible packaging printing.

Christian Harder, vice president of sales at Durst Group, says: “We will be exhibiting a total of six printing systems, including a completely new development for super-wide printing, introducing Vanguard printing systems to Europe, and highlighting new market opportunities with a label printing system.”

Over on Stand 3.2-B58, Azonprinter will introduce “several” new products at the show including the new Pronto UV desktop-sized UV DTF machine and the Azonprinter Edge desktop UV printer.

Pronto is available in two A3 desktop sizes: Pronto (CMYUK+ white) and Pronto Neon (cyan, neon magenta, neon yellow, black, and white). In the DTF technology sphere, Azon offers the Pronto Plus Neon X roll-to-roll system featuring a ten-channel print head.

Manufacturer of sublimation and direct-to-fabric inkjet printers, aleph, will showcase how advanced digital printing technologies can be used in outdoor and indoor application capabilities.

On it stand (4.2-C50), aleph will host its LAFORTE 600 Paper industrial inkjet printer designed for high-volume production of indoor and outdoor printed products. Capable of print speeds of up to 850sq m per hour using 24 printheads, the kit is described as “one of the fastest water-based inkjet printers on the market”.

Also on show will be the LAFORTE 340 direct-to-textile inkjet printing system which has been designed to meet the needs of the growing home textile market.

Alessandro Manes, chief executive officer of aleph, comments: “Not only will we showcase our flagship solutions engineered to address the current trends in the market, but also, we will highlight how our advanced proprietary technologies are aimed at enabling users to make their production processes more sustainable and more efficient.”

On stand 1.2-A30, Mimaki Europe will be showcasing its latest technologies including the new 330 series (comprising of the JV330-160, CJV330-160, and the TS330-1600). Also on show at the FESPA gold sponsor’s stand will be its new CG-AR cutting plotter. A centrepiece of the stand will be a customer gallery showcasing customer samples and testimonies, as well as live demonstrations and the chance to speak with Mimaki experts.

This together with the customer success stories in the gallery, are sure to inspire and make for an invaluable experience for visitors,” commented Danna Drion, EMEA General Marketing Manager at Mimaki Europe.”

Also showcasing its hardware is Epson on Stand 4.2-C30. The manufacturer will use a series of live printing demonstrations across different areas to demonstrate the sectors it serves. These include: the promotional, direct-to-garment, direct-to-fabric, dye-sublimation, and signage sectors.

Kit will include the SC-F2100 DTG printer, Epson’s first A4 dye-sublimaton printer, the SureColor SC-F100, the SureColor SC-F3000 direct-to-garment printer, the Monna Lisa ML-8000 direct-to-fabric printer, and the SureColor SC-F9400H and SC-F10000H dye-sublimation printers.

For the signage sector, Epson will be showcasing its first water-based resin ink large-format printer, the SureColor SC-R5000L designed to print on a wide range of substrates including wallcoverings, soft signage, and fine art paper.

Marc Tinkler, head of product marketing for Commercial and Industrial Printing at Epson Europe, says: “With companies all over Europe now emerging from lockdowns, there has never been a better time to diversify into new growth markets and maximise on the revenue potential that these areas can deliver.

“Our range of printers on display at FESPA together with the solutions offered by many of our key partners, demonstrate just how easy and cost-effective it is for printers to do just that.”

Another wide-format kit manufacturer is swissQprint and the company has revealed it will be launching a brand new piece of technology in a world premiere at the show.

The manufacturer will also be presenting its flatbed generation 4 Karibu roll-to-roll printer, neon inks, and application portfolio on Stand 1.2-C20.

Consumables Over in the consumables market, Nazdar Ink Technologies will be showcasing its new and pre-existing portfolio of digital inkjet, screen, and flexo inks, as well as its special effects offerings.

On Stand 6.2-B30, the company will promote its range of ‘plug and play’ alternatives inks which Nazdar says allows end-users running wide-format digital printers to reduce costs without compromising on quality.

The inks on show will include Nazdar 706/707 and 708 Series UV-LED ink for Mimaki JFX and UJF printers; and Nazdar 205 Series solvent-based inkjet inks for Roland printers.

Also providing an ink offering for visitors is Sun Chemical. On Stand 6.2-A40, the company will operate under the theme ‘Solutions in Motion’ and showcase wide-format and super wide-format inks, textile inkjet inks, screen and industrial inks, and solutions from SunJet, the digital inkjet brand of Sun Chemical.

Using a ‘5Rs’ framework which are Reuse, Reduce, Renew, Recycle, and Redesign, Sun Chemical works to improve the eco-efficiency and sustainability of its inks, coatings, and adhesives.

Nazdar Ink Technologies will be showcasing its new and pre-existing portfolio of digital inkjet, screen, and flexo inks

For wide-format printers, Sun Chemical will promote its Streamline range of inkjet inks including the Streamline TVL 2 ink designed for the sign, display, and graphics market for use with Roland’s SG2 and VG2 range of printers.

The Streamline MBS will also be presented with the ECOPROCISS ink feed system.

Streamline APY for Kyocera printheads, Streamline APR for Ricoh Gen 5 printheads, and Sun Chemical’s full range of products for the textiles market will also be on show.

For the sign industry, Sun Chemical will demonstrate SunMotion, an alternative to backlit signage and LCD displays, and SunJet, the global inkjet brand of Sun Chemical and DIC.
